Nicole Testa
Nicole completed her post-graduate training at the Maple Counseling Center, a community mental health organization in Beverly Hills, CA. With training in both psychodynamic and family systems therapy, she worked closely with individuals and families to explore overall relational dynamics, including patterns of interaction, communication styles, family roles, boundaries, and power structures—both functional and dysfunctional.
Nicole also has specialized expertise in adoption and blended family dynamics, with a particular emphasis on attachment relationships between family members. She has extensive experience working with families involved in high-conflict situations, including those facing parental alienation and court-related challenges. In this capacity, Nicole supported families in managing a wide range of emotional, social, and psychological concerns, including depression and anxiety.
Women’s Mental Health
Nicole is passionate about supporting women through all stages of life. She works with adolescent girls and young women navigating identity, relationships, and life transitions, as well as with women in midlife and menopause who are facing the emotional and psychological shifts that often come with hormonal changes, caregiving roles, career shifts, or life reevaluation. Her approach is compassionate, relational, and rooted in an understanding of how gender, culture, and societal pressures can impact emotional well-being
